The 25 Question Porn Purity Test
Have you ever taken a purity test? With an average of 100 or more questions mainly focused on things like touching a boob or taking a shower with a member of the opposite sex, purity tests tend to appeal to a younger demographic.
For fun, I put together a purity test for the porn fan. Check the box next to every question you can answer “yes” to. As it’s actually a poll, it won’t score for you, but it will show you where you stack up against other VideoBox members. Fun quiz Alison, thank you. I scored 8 yes answers – 68% pure. If I could have been awarded a point for each external hard drive (100GB and up) I’ve filled with porn, I would be less than 0% pure. Is that possible? Negative purity? Did you take the quiz?

Like Rope I had eight positive answers on the abbreviated version which leads to an assumption about my likely score on the original or unaltered test-still PURE. cute and ultimately suggest-it’s all good! Although exposing someone else in any way without permission, I think is never cool and not pure, but corrupt-in fact, intrusion, violation, unapproved, etc…actions impressed upon another is uncool, and not pure, I believe. Of course, this excludes role playing and any action that could be perceived by others to be what I have described as not pure, but understood by the relevant participants and there desire(s)- I think these actions are most pure and very cool. Thanks for the test and can I have another.

rope – Had you scored a point for every drive you filled, you’d be at what – 40%? 12%?

Alison – Assuming negative territory is allowable, I believe minus 40% would be a good ballpark estimate. If not, then 0% without question. However, if deleting porn from filled hard drives restores one’s purity, I’d be yo-yoing back and forth like a, well, yo-yo.
Is Kim Kardashian a reader of the blog? Someone here had their homemade porn “stolen,” and released by Vivid.

Only 6… lost points for keeping it away from work/public, and never having anyone find my stuff or walk in on me. Like rope, I would’ve been over the top if each hard drive counted as a point. Secure, multi-terabyte network attached storage has got to count for something.

@ Strangepork – Negative on your friend’s assumption regarding the contents of network storage, and while I’m not sure it quite fits the category of homemade porn, photographing nude models has got to eat away at one’s purity. Excellent work my friend.

Well, 12 out of 25 for me. I can say proudly (?) that I am one of the perviest in thy land! Now I’m not sure if it counts for homemade porn either but I do have photographic evidance of my (ex) wife and I when we went to her Senior prom (and yes was over 18). Am I ever so happy I got to keep ‘em in the divorce settlment!

I got 18 “yes”, 7 no, although some of the “yes” to the discovery questions were nominal (had very liberal parents back in the 1980s, and my spouse knows all about my porn: it came before she did)…
Now, if you ever ask the question “how much porn do you have,” like Rope, I’d be in trouble. It’s not on an external drive, though – it’s on a RAID5 server

Oh, and while I’ve never had my porn examined by airport security (in fact, the once I’ve imported some, I was rather disappointed that customs did NOT ask to see the “men’s magazines” I was declaring) I have had my laptop examined for porn coming back into the US. However, to be on the safe side I’d deleted all of the VB titles I’d downloaded abroad at low-res, and just got ‘em back as DVD once in the merry ol’ prudish USA

Man, is having your stash discovered by your parents just the worst feeling ever? I think I was about 15 when it happened . . . my mom made me feel so guilty, yet my dad was oddly silent. Probably watched it all for himself later. The guilt lasted about 2 days, and then I was back on Limewire downloading away. Even though I’m an “adult” and have nothing illegal on my computer, I still keep it hidden.

is scoring high with a lot of yeses a high grade or low.
i would think on a porn site that a lot of yeses is good so a low purity score or high impurity score would be a good grade and vice versa.. or am i totally wrong on all of this.
Please rope or alison some feedback pertaining to this ok

Hotscooter2: Depends on how you look at it. Take me for example. I only have a 52% pure rating (12 yes answers). If I would have had less, I would be more of a “pure” person, in the sense that I don’t have all that much porn. The more answers you get a yes on, the less pur you are. Now, I would think that being less pure would be a bonus, since as hawksfan pointed out, we’re all members of VideoBox. So I would say that purity is in the eye of the beholder.
